Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! Please read our shipping policy carefully so you know what to expect when ordering from our store.

1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 2–5 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

2. Shipping Options and Delivery Times

We currently ship within the contiguous United States only.

  • Orders are shipped on Monday only. Shipping for orders placed over the weekend (Saturday / Sunday, EST / EDT) may be delayed until the following Monday (9 days and 8 days later, respectively). Shipping for orders placed on Monday will be delayed until the following Monday (7 days later).
  • If the post office is closed on our scheduled shipping day, we'll ship the next business day. Additional shipping delays may occur.
  • Orders placed through this website are shipped via USPS Priority Mail only. We may be able to accomodate if you require a different shipping method or carrier but you must contact us prior to placing an order.
  • Orders are usually delivered within 5 business days after shipping but delays beyond our control may occur.
  • Rates are calculated at checkout based on size, weight, destination, or a flat rate shipping that we determine.
  • We cannot combine shipping costs on multiple orders for items where quantity per order is restricted to 1.
  • We are also not able to combine shipping costs or boxing for orders placed on the website and orders placed on another platform such as eBay.

3. Shipping Restrictions

  • We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, PO Boxes, or APO/FPO addresses
  • International shipping is not available at this time.
  • Some items may have additional shipping restrictions noted on their product pages.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your shipment through the carrier's website. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.

5. Lost Shipments

If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package or your package appears to be stuck in transit, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work to resolve the issue.

6. Shipping Dormant Plants

Please note, our plants are dormant outside the growing season (which may vary depending on species) and may appear DOA. We suggest potting dormant plants and allowing them to remain dormant, keeping the soil moist throughout dormancy. They'll begin growing in the spring, usually around April - May.

Dormant Sarracenia always ship with the pitchers trimmed off.

7. Returns and Exchanges

We do not accept returns and exchanges.
